Arround the corner of the house you have the opportunity to sports practice (There is a big sports hall with pool).
The flat is close to restaurants and foodstores and its only 3 km to the center of Västerås. You can also enjoy a daytrip to Stockholm that is one hour away. The train leaves once every hour.
