The skerries of the East Coast,
about 30 kilometers north of Kalmar, are the destination for this holiday home which is located a bit outside the locality of Pataholm.
The charming old house, which has been renovated in 2010, is shining with tiled stoves and wood-burning stove. On the one hand it is up-to-date and comfortably equipped and furnished and on the other hand it was tried during renovation to preserve the old style and even details in order to get a good combination of the past and modern time.
You will find here three bedrooms, a hall with toilet and totally eight places to sleep. In this way also smaller groups or two families who are good friends can spend their holidays together here.
Behind the house there is a beautiful and sunny barbecue area with a view of the surrounding fields.
You will live here in a peaceful and beautiful environment in the coutry with a convenient walking distance to the sea towards one direction and to the forest towards the other direction. Within a radius of one kilometer you will have the opportunity to visit the idyllic small locality of Pataholm with its summer café and the enchanting center of that place. Or you go on a hiking tour to the spit of land named "Saltorsudde" and find out your quite "personal" place in the sun right in the middle of the skerries.
You can go fishing in the bay, rent a canoe and paddle upstream the river Alsterån. Pack your picnic basket and go exploring the surrounding forests, but don´t forget to pick the really large boletus edulis.

Fresh holiday house, built -89 with a lovely, large and sunny patio. The kitchen is large and well if you are many people. There are two double bedrooms upstairs and 2 bedrooms downstairs and a spacious TV room upstairs with a play area for children. There is a small playground for small children 100m from the house and farther a familiar small children swimming. The small village is located by the sea with a wonderful, beautiful, varied scenery. The archipelago is large with plenty of space. Perfect if you want peace and quiet and not so many tourists. If you do not swim there the forest near. Day trips can be made to the Kalmar Castle, the Kingdom of Crystal, Vimmerby "Astrid Lindgren's World" or Öland Animal / amusement park. Within 1km of reach, you can experience the idyllic Pataholm with its summer café o its interesting history. Wander out on the wonderful peninsula Saltorsudde or find 'your own' sunbathing in the middle of the archipelago. Fishing in the bay. Rent a canoe o paddle up the river Alsterån. Walk in the forest with mushrooms and picnic basket. Next neighbor is 10 meters away from the accommodation.

Close to the sea/archipelago lies cozy Pataholm. One km to the south there is a large, charming, older house with 5 bedrooms and 9 beds. Has a bit of the character of "Astrid Lindgren's" red house. Located 3 miles north of Kalmar. Have several houses in the same nice area if the week is booked. We have maintained the old character with tiled stoves, wood stove, etc. Very picturesque and appreciated by previous tenants. Perfect if you are a large family or two families who want to live together and where you can share just one shower/toilet. Has several houses in the same nice area. We have just started the summer booking, hence a lot of free time. Even the family's good pets are welcome if they are not in the furniture. At the back, a small garden with a nice patio with evening sun and barbecue facilities. Calm and nice. Here is a calm and pleasant environment with walking distance to both the sea (200m), swimming area 900m and the forest is close by. The nature and surroundings of the small village are very beautiful. Saltor's peninsula stretches far out into the archipelago and is a fantastic opportunity when you don't have a boat to get out with. Bring a large coffee basket and the day will be perfect. Canoes can be rented in Pataholms Café Day trips to eg: Kalmar Castle, the Kingdom of Glass, Vimmerby with "Astrid Lindgren's World" or Öland's animal/amusement park. Timmernabben 7km: Popular Caramellfabrik: Råsnäs with its delicious handmade caramels. Fresh fish shop and restaurant with good food. Within a 1km range you can: *- Experience the idyllic Pataholm with its summer café and its interesting history. *- Swim at one/several smaller and familiar bathing spots in Korpemåla, 900m, Saltor or Fagelsudd (3km). * -Wander out on the wonderful Saltorsudde peninsula and find "your own" sunbathing spot in the middle of the archipelago. *- Fishing in the bay. *- Rent a canoe and paddle up the Alsterån. *- Walk in the forest with mushrooms or a picnic basket.
