The rural school building from 1870, now known as Torsholma Skolhus, has been renovated and furnished with great care, mainly through self-effort. Here you will find a place to feel comfortable in every season, surrounded by beautiful nature and the tranquility of the Swedish forests.
The charming, classically red house is located on a little-travelled road that winds through picturesque landscapes and forests. In the surrounding area there are a few pretty, typically Swedish wooden houses as well as numerous lakes with bathing spots and fishing opportunities, which are only 5 minutes away by car.
The holiday home offers plenty of space to relax and feel at home with its 160 m² of living space:
Ground floor (100 m²):
The former classroom, now a light-filled living room (66 m²) with a cosy fireplace, invites you to linger.
Cosy kitchen with modern equipment.
Bathroom with shower, toilet and sauna - perfect for relaxing after an active day.
Nostalgic, functional cast-iron stove that creates additional warmth and atmosphere.
First floor (at least 60 m²):
Two bedrooms: one with a bed (140x200 cm), the other with a bed (160x200 cm).
A spacious, open hallway with armchairs and a sofa - ideal for quiet reading hours or retreating.

Cottage overlooking lake Örsjön (Free Wi-Fi) awaits you this small holiday home which has been built in 2010 in the beautiful nature of Småland. The holiday home offers a cosy terrace with garden furniture and grill, it is up-to-date furnished with TV, DVD as well as satellite programmes, also in German. There is a kitchen corner in combination with the living area, a dining place, a bedroom with double bed as well as a bedloft, so that up to four persons can spend their holidays togehter here. The Backstugan is a holiday home in the idyllical Småland in South Sweden. It consists of a living room, a kitchen and two bedrooms. The kitchen is equipped/furnished with all things necessary for self-catering. The bathroom consists of a shower as well as WC. The TV is equipped with Astra programmes for the reception of German channels. The open fire in the living room provides for the necessary cosiness to end a day of the holidays which was rich in experiences. The terrace is partly covered and furnished with seating furniture and grill. But the most beautiful thing is, of course, the view of the lake which is presented to you by the Örsjön in front of your nose. You will hav a rowing boat available free of charge. Another boat as well as canoe and boat engine can be rented against a fee. Kalvshult is located naturally and beautifullly in the countryside with a lot of hiking trails and cycle pathes through the forests of Småland. Here you can escape everyday life, can find ways of passing the time by swimming, fishing, having a sauna and simply taking the time to breathe, to recharge the human batteries. Distribution of beds (1. bedroom with double bed, 2. bedroom with bunk bed) Next neighbor is 50 meters away from the accommodation. A private boat and electricity are included in the rent. It is also possible to rent a boat engine, bicycles, canoes, sauna and hot tub at extra cost.
