Holidays at the lake Siljan near Leksand
"Tibble stugan" is the name of an old log cabin, dating from the 19th century, which has been renovated last in 2012 and which offers a beautiful view of the river "Dalälven" and the mountains.
The holiday home is located in a small settlement named Tibble and at the property of your landlady. The small village road is passing here the holiday home (10 m away), so that you will arrive without any problems even during a winter which is rich in snow.
The house consists of two rooms and a kitchen. In addition you will have a bathroom with shower and WC as well as an outside seating area at the rear side with the evening sun and a seating area at the front side with the morning sun. Children have access to a sandbox, swings and trampoline at the plot of your hosts.
Down by the river (300 m away) you will find a small and at the same time the nearest place for bathing.
Destinations for excursions in the surrounding are, for example, the theme park of "Leksand Sommarland" (6 km away), Rättvik and its Freiluftarena Dalhalla (open-air arena) (20 km away), the bird´s lake of Limsjön (1 km away) or the Arena Tegera (2 km away).
There are a lot of interesting events around the lake Siljan in summer, like the Medieval Market on the last weekend in May or the Midsummer´s Night ceremonies, music at the Siljan in July or the Classic Car Weekend in week 31.
