There is also a bike rental service, and you should train for the "Vättern runt" (300 km), which will be launched in June each year, you have excellent opportunities for it. The house, which was used in ealier times as an accomodation for chauffeurs, will be found at a farmstead from the year 1870 at a hill with lively agriculture around. The house has about 55 square meters and contains 2 rooms - one larger sleeping room with 4 beds and one minor living room as well as a kitchen. The surrounding is "peaceful" and quiet, a sparsely populated area, and only about 300 meters (as the crow flies) to the second largest lake of Sweden, the Vättern. In the water, belonging to the farmstead, you can try to fish crayfish (for a fee). The Vättern offers good opportunities both for fishing and for swimming at idyllic places to swim. The nearest sandy beaches are about 1 km away from the holiday home. Motala (10km) is the "capital" of the Göta kanal. Here you can observe, for example, how boats are passed through the lock.
