Welcome to Sweden's summer city no. 1
Carefully renovated cultural house from 1949 on two floors and living area in the basement.
Entrance floor with a new kitchen open to the dining area, toilet and bedroom for one person, living room with a large fireplace, at an angle to the dining area (8 pers.) Via double doors you reach the veranda with wicker furniture and in the garden there is a substantial teak table with plenty of space and a gas grill. A massive golden willow provides a beautiful roof to part of the garden.
Upper floor with 2 bedrooms (180 or 140 bed) one with balcony, open space where the airy staircase ends and bathroom with shower. Living space 120 square meters, but a basement of about 40 square meters is added. There is a large bedroom with 2 beds, sofa corner and stove. Sauna and laundry room with shower corner.
The holiday house was renovated in 2021-22 with light interior painting, sanded parquet floors, brand new kitchen. We have kept the simple, beautiful in the details as well as the old double-glazed windows, some colored with lead bars, which give a wonderful play of light!
The garden adjoins woodland. Located on a cul-de-sac in a residential area with a short walk to both the center with Archipelago boats, restaurants and cozy small shops as well as to Lysingsbadet and the islets outside with sea bathing. 4 km t Gränsö with nature reserve and hiking trails as well as several sea baths, Gränsö Castle with spa etc. Coop, pizzeria, restaurant and padel hall within max 500m.
Slottsholmen with its beautiful marine environment just a 20 minute walk away. In Västervik, the sea is always close, many great nature experiences, nice summer hangouts and fantastic events!
