Description
Right in the middle of Småland in South Sweden and located at a lake, that´s where the guests of the holiday home "Sörsjön" will live. The lake is, by the way, of the same name as the domicile.
You will reach the house by using a path/way winding through the forest. The holiday home is placed at a hill, about 60 meters away from the waterfront of the lake „Sörsjön“.
From the large terrace you can even watch the fishes jumping up and waterfowls taking a wander through the lake.
You can swim down at the lake from a swimming raft, however for children the public places to swim in the surrounding are suited better.
A popular pleasure is the sauna bathing down at the lake "Sörsjön", especially in the evenings.
The holiday home was built in 2008 and has a good standard.
As destinations for excursions we could recommend the World of Glass, the elk park at Kosta, the World of Astrid Lindgren, the distillery in Kyrkeby or the Småland metropolises of Växjö and Kalmar or Karlskrona in Blekinge. Groups of more than six persons can even hire the little annex "Lyckebo" with 2 beds, bathroom and kitchen for an extra fee. The annex won't be rented out to other guests though during your stay if you don't wish to book it.

Even the journey to this domicile is an experience. After leaving the asphalt road, you first drive 2 kilometers through the deep forests of Småland until you reach a clearing on a hill where this beautifully located and stylishly furnished villa is located in the middle of the forest. Below the gigantic terrace is the small lake "Sörsjön", where there is a wood-heated sauna and a jetty with a total of 2 rowing boats. There is also a bathing ladder on the jetty for hot days or after a sauna session. The holiday home itself offers plenty of space and is modernly furnished. It consists of a living area of around 100 m2 with panoramic windows and seating areas, a dining area, a huge TV with Swedish and German programs and a fully equipped kitchen with, for example, an extra drinks fridge, dishwasher, induction stove and two ovens. The fireplace is powered by spirit and creates a cozy, feel-good atmosphere. The house has four separate bedrooms with comfortable beds and two bathrooms with shower, sink and toilet. You have fast internet available here and the best thing is the huge terrace, from which you can look through the trees down to the lake just a few meters away. The house is also rented out for long weekends and, in addition to an unforgettable comfortable holiday on the lake, is also suitable for trips for companies and clubs that like to take a break from everyday stress. The Kingdom of Glass, the Elk Park in Kosta, the world of Astrid Lindgren, the distillery in Kyrkeby or the Småland metropolises of Växjö, Kalmar or Karlskrona in Blekinge can be recommended as excursion destinations. Groups of more than eight people can also rent a neighboring holiday home for another five people and a guest cabin with two beds, kitchen and bathroom for an additional charge. This means there is space for up to 15 people. If you are interested, please ask our customer support. Please note: This property also includes the following features: Motorboat (can be rented), 2 boats (included). You have access to a sauna on the water. This can be booked on site free of charge. Guests of two other holiday homes also have the option of booking the sauna. There are also up to four bicycles that you can use on site free of charge, but you are responsible for ensuring that they are roadworthy; there is no service from the host for the bikes.
