This typical red and white painted Småland holiday home is located not far from the lake Sörsjön close to Emmaboda in South Sweden.
It is placed at a large property with a beautiful view. In the nearer surrounding there are seven lakes of different size within a radius of two kilometers.
Those people, who cannot go without their talks with the neighbors, should not book this domicile. Here you have booked your accomodation, combined with a lot of stillness and peace, and the nearest neighbor is about 1,5 kilometers away, so that you have to be more satisfied with the company of wild animals, like elks and deer.
And in case you once have the feeling, that you need a bit more than only your travelling companion, then you should grasp the opportunity with both hands for some day trips to the exciting World of Glass or the summer island of Öland.

A canoe + boat with 7,5 hp outboard motor is included in the rental

Right in the middle of Småland in South Sweden and located at a lake, that´s where the guests of the holiday home "Sörsjön" will live. The lake is, by the way, of the same name as the domicile. You will reach the house by using a path/way winding through the forest. The holiday home is placed at a hill, about 60 meters away from the waterfront of the lake „Sörsjön“. From the large terrace you can even watch the fishes jumping up and waterfowls taking a wander through the lake. You can swim down at the lake from a swimming raft, however for children the public places to swim in the surrounding are suited better. A popular pleasure is the sauna bathing down at the lake "Sörsjön", especially in the evenings. The holiday home was built in 2008 and has a good standard. As destinations for excursions we could recommend the World of Glass, the elk park at Kosta, the World of Astrid Lindgren, the distillery in Kyrkeby or the Småland metropolises of Växjö and Kalmar or Karlskrona in Blekinge. Groups of more than six persons can even hire the little annex "Lyckebo" with 2 beds, bathroom and kitchen for an extra fee. The annex won't be rented out to other guests though during your stay if you don't wish to book it. 3 bedrooms (1. with double bed (or single beds), 2. with double bed (or single beds)), living room with convertible sofa. 3. The annex with 2 extra beds, with own bathroom (shower / toilet) and pentry kitchen can be rented for an extra fee.

In the deep forests of Southern Småland you will find the holiday home "Farmors stugan", which means as much as Grandma´s hut. This small paradise is surrounded by a forest and pasture scenery with the stone walls, typical for this region. The house was built in 1850 and completely renovated in 2004, resulting in an up-to-date accomodation with the old style of the past. To the holiday home belongs a bedroom, a living room with convertible sofa, a bathroom with shower and WC as well as a kitchen corner. Outside the holiday home offers a terrace with grill, where you can take your meals in a pleasant way and where you can listen to the twittering of birds. From here you can go by bike along the small village path and enjoy beautiful nature and scenery. Or you go stalking into the surrounding forests and make use of the rich occurence of berries and mushrooms. In case you like it a bit more peaceful and quiet, so you can use the relaxing hammock at the large property, which is excellently suited to read a book. At hot summer´s days you should visit the idyllic place to swim, which is about 4 kilometers away from the holiday home. Or why not testing the luck in fishing in one of the 20 lakes, which you will find within a radius of 20 kilometers. A popular pleasure is sauna bathing down at the lake "Sörsjön", especially in the evenings.
