The hostel is located in a scenic area in the northern Sälenfjällen, about 25 km from Sälens By. Nature conservation areas and nature reserves surround the hostel. An excellent starting point for both summer and winter activities such as mountain hiking at Kungsleden, fly fishing and downhill skiing both in Sälen and Trysil. Ski tracks and snowmobile trails start right outside the door.

There are several different room types at the hostel, ranging from comfortable single rooms to practical family rooms and traditional dormitories. Wash basins are available in all rooms, and some also have their own toilet. Shower and sauna are in the corridor. We offer rooms for the disabled with wide doors, entrance on a ramp and adapted bathroom. A number of rooms where pets are welcome are available. You cook your food in our nice guest kitchen.
